This was a comprehensive away victory for Springfield Ramblers in this National Cup tie at Ballyphehane Park. The win was secured by a hat-trick from Adam O’Sullivan and a brace

from Adam Horgan. Best performances came from Dave Coffey and Calvin Carroll. The next tie for Springfield Ramblers is against Avenue United from Clare.

Cobh Ramblers 2 Rockmount 0

This was a good win for Cobh Ramblers in this National Cup tie against a very good and competitive Rockmount side. The home side scored both goals in the first half. The first of these came from Jason Abbott when he met a through ball from Adam Thompson on the half volley to finish to the net. The second goal was scored by Dave Cahill when he met a cross from Daniel Santry and volleyed a great shot to score. Rockmount enjoyed more of the possession in the second half but they were unable to break down  the Ramblers defensive line.
