Cobh Gaa Notes: Minors East Cork Hurling League Final: Cobh 0-11 Bride Rvrs 0-3.

Senior Club AGM: The AGM of Cobh Gaa Club was held on Thursday 2nd of December. Bill Brannigan was returned as Chairman for a third year with John Hanley continuing in his role as secretary. Sandra Farrell took over the reins as Treasurer of the club, Brendan Kearney continues as Registrar, while John Ronan remains on as Intermediate hurling manager and Ger Morgan takes control of the Junior football team. The appointment of Minor selectors was left over until the Juvenile Club AGM as minor competitions will fall under the same umbrella as the other juvenile age groups in 2011 under new structures introduced by the Cork County Board.

Bingo goes Big For Christmas: Sunday December 19th at 8:15pm will be our Monster Christmas Bingo Night. All Prizes will be DOUBLED including a €250 game, 2 x €300 games, and a €500 game. Spots on every Line and every Full House. At least 5 Hampers to be raffled. Over €3000 in Prize Money. Great night assured. Not to be missed.

Puc Fáda – St. Stephen’s Day All are welcome to join in the fun of the Puc Fáda on St. Stephen’s morning. No experience necessary! Entry Fee: €15 per adult and €5 per juvenile. ~ Teams of 3, any mix you want, starting in Ballymore, Sliotars will be provided, but spares may be required! Many team prizes and entertainment in the club pavilion afterwards. (Registration at the club pavilion from 10:30am.)
