On Bank Holiday Monday 25th we had our end of season party which included a match between the coaches and the u16/u14 teams. An enjoyable day was had by all involved. We would like to thank all the parents and players and their families for coming along on the day and for providing food for the party and giving spot prizes for the raffle. Thank you to Cobh GAA for allowing us to use their facilities and to Tom Hennessy for all his help on the day.
Some of the coaches had their legs waxed and one had his beard shaved which was sponsored to help the girls with their fundraising to get a new set of away jerseys for next year. Thank you to Mairead Iball and to Ruth from the Beauty Chambers who gave up their time to do the waxing and shaving . We wish Ruth the best of luck as she moves business to ticknock behind Cheries hair salon in the next couple of weeks.
A raffle was held on the night with the prizes kindly donated by parentsand families of the players, Precise Control Ltd, Cllr Sean O’Connor and Ruth of the Beauty Chambers. The night was finished off with an open session of music which many players got involved in, a sincere thank you to Jenny O Loinsigh and her music group who co-ordinated the music for us.
Enjoy the break girls we look forward to seeing you all again in 2011.
