International Artist’s Moving To Cork To Form Band

Love Street duo Sarah Reeve & Ronan McCormick heading for Cork to complete band

Australian solo artist Sarah Reeve and Irish Percussionist Ronan McCormick (Cobh) are moving to Ireland to find musicians to complete the line up of their Soul/Blues/Pop band “Love Street”. Ireland has a wealth of world-class musicians and “Love Street” is holding Auditions to create a world-class band.

The duo are fly into Cork from Sydney on October 8th and will waste no time getting their search underway. The Drummer & Singer/Pianist are looking for a Bassist, Guitarist and Saxophonist to complete the band. “In the auditions we will be looking for raw talent, unique style and professionalism”.

“Love Street”, named after the street where they first met in Sydney was formed mid 2010 and quickly decided that a move to Ireland would be a good career choice with the U.K. & European music scene only a stones throw away.

Sarah Reeve has had International success with her debut solo album “From the mind of a dreamer” which peaked at number 47 in the Swiss music charts. She has toured in Germany, Switzerland, Romania & Australia and has recorded demos with Universal Music Germany. Ronan McCormick, a graduate of Pulse Recording College Dublin has performed all over Ireland including The Electric Picnic festival, in the U.K. and Australia. He was involved in producing the album “Our Space” which entered the Irish compilation charts at number 5.

Ronan, from Cobh, told the Cobh Edition that ‘’The Band will be based in Cobh for the foreseeable future and It would be great to find local musicians form the town. I’m from Cobh and grew up there, moving to Australia two years ago and am now  moving back to form the band’’
