1st and 2nd teams both received walkovers at the weekend, Mallow filled the fixture giving the 2nd side a welcome challenge game which they won comfortably. A very young side with the added maturity of Robbie Doyle and Dean McKweon played a good open style of play for the game with the majority of  trys being scored out wide.  They Junior 2s will face the winners of the Douglas/Crosshaven clash in the semi final of the Dennehy Cup this coming Sunday in the Paddock with a 12 noon k.o. The Junior 1s will also be in cup action when they take on Limerick side St Senans, also at home with a 2.30 pm kick off.

The juvenile season commenced on Saturday with the sunshine welcoming back the kids after the summer break. Children aged 5 and up are encouraged to give rugby a try. Training is on Saturday mornings at 11a.m. for all age groups. Beginners and “seasoned campaigners” alike are welcome and will be looke after by our qualified coaches at all levels.
