Cobh Pirates would like to thank all those who gave generously on our recent juvenile flag day. All the monies collected will go to the club juvenile set-up and used for the upgrading of juvenile training equipment and gear. We would especially like to thank the owners of the premises that gave us permission to collect outside of, namely Cross River Ferries, Ray Keatings Londis, Danny Murphys and Gerry Curleys.
The juvenile tag rugby comes to a climax this coming Saturday with a family fun day in the Paddock. Also we would like to remind parents and children that the juvenile season is upon us and re-commences on Saturday the 4th of September at 11 am. Children aged 5 and upwards are catered for by our experienced coaches. All children, both newcomers and “seasoned campaigners” are welcome and we look forward to seeing them all back to the club.
