The Rushbrooke Links Centra car park took on the shape of a kiddies entertainment arena on Saturday when Manager Mark Byrne and his team played host to a large crowd for their annual Family Fun Day. Bouncing Castles, Face Painting and Music kept the children entertained whilst the adults found it hard to resist the absolutely beautiful BBQ food on offer throughout the afternoon.
For once the Sun kept it’s hat off until right before the end ensuring that everyone had a great time. Centra Manager Mark Byrne who recently took over at the helm was absolutely delighted with the turnout. ”Delighted” he said. ”This is our way of saying a big thank you to all our loyal customers and it’s our way of giving something back to the local community.”
The entrance to the Rushbrooke Links estate was recently flowered up at the total expense of the Centra store. ”We thought it would be a good idea to add a little bit of colour to the entrance so it was agreed that we’d do the honours” said Mark. ”We currently employ 18 local people and our focus is on value, smart savings and of course Centra’s own brand. In-store we have a fresh Deli Counter, Fresh fruit area, ATM Machine and Full Off-Licence and a very large parking area outside. We are also open for business from 8.00am to 10.00pm seven days a week”.
Winners of the Centra drw yesterday were:
Robert Ketchen – €100
Stephanie Collins – €50
Brendan Langford €25
