SSE Airtricity League Clubs awarded licences ahead of 2022 season

Following the work undertaken by the independent committee, the FAI can confirm the following clubs have been awarded licences for the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Season.
Club Licence awarded – Premier Division
Athlone Town, Bohemian FC, Derry City FC, Drogheda United, Dundalk, Finn Harps, Galway United, Longford Town, St. Patrick’s Athletic, Shamrock Rovers, Shelbourne FC, Sligo Rovers, Waterford FC, UCD AFC.
Club Licence awarded – First Division
Bray Wanderers, Cork City FC, Cobh Ramblers FC, Treaty United FC, Wexford FC.
