Cork East TD Seán Sherlock has said he will maintain pressure for a vaccination centre to be considered in East Cork after the Government released the vaccination centre list.
“East Cork needs to have its own vaccination centre to ensure the best vaccination spread,” said Deputy Sherlock.
“ I have written to the HSE and the Minister for Health again to request an East Cork centre that can service Cobh, Midleton Youghal and Carrigtwohill, and all places in between. I still await their reply. It is my hope that more centres than the 37 announced nationally will be created. We need as many vaccination centres as supply allows.”
