Ballymaloe Grainstore audiences lovedRemembering Joe – The Original Joe Dolan Show in 2019, so the venue has invited The Joe Dolan Family Band back on Sunday 8 March 2020 for an updated version of last year’s sold-out show. More than just a tribute, the concert is a recreation of a Joe Dolan show exactly as it was.
’There’s No Show Like A Joe Show’ was the catchphrase used to describe Joe’s live shows and how they put people in a happy mood. This night in Ballymaloe Grainstore will do the same and will have audiences singing along to all those famous hits.
Joe shared the stage with his younger brother Ben for 47 fun-filled years. Who better than Ben to highlight Joe’s extraordinary singing career? Remembering Joe also features Ben’s daughter Sandra, sons Ray and Adrian, along with Karen Carroll, and the original Joe Dolan Band.
Throughout his singing career Joe’s energetic and charismatic stage performances thrilled audiences around the world. This is the story of Joe Dolan in words and music from his first hit in 1964, ‘The Answer To Everything’; through the 1970s with songs such as ‘I Need You’ and ‘Sweet Little Rock ‘n’ Roller’; the 80s with ‘More and More’, ‘It’s You, It’s You, It’s You’ and ‘Goodbye Venice Goodbye’; the 90s with ‘The Universal’; and right up to ‘O Holy Night’.
Remembering Joe is sure to sell out on Sunday 8 March, so early booking is advised. Tickets are €30 and can be booked online at www.ballymaloegrainstore.com or by phone on 021 475 7200.
