Cobh Ramblers sign Adam Foley from Limerick

Following the announcement earlier today of Darryl Walsh’s signing, we are pleased to confirm the addition of striker Adam Foley from Limerick FC to our senior squad for 2020.
Adam began his career at Aisling Annacotty before joining Limerick FC in 2017. He spent two seasons at their U19 side, finishing as the league’s top scorer in 2017. He made his senior debut in the 2018 season against Shamrock Rovers. In 2019 he became a key member of their senior side, making 20 first team appearances and scoring 2 goals. The UL student picked up a Harding Cup medal with his college last year and also scored in their Collingwood Cup final defeat to UCC. Having spent a period on trial with Ramblers during pre-season, he has now signed for the new League of Ireland campaign.
He spoke to our media team about the news,
“I’m delighted to have signed for Cobh for the upcoming season. Stuart and the lads have been great to me over the past few weeks and have really helped me to settle in well here. I’m looking forward to playing a part in achieving a successful season this year for Ramblers.”
Adam follows in the footsteps of Lee Devitt who has also joined us from Limerick this season.
