The recital of “Carolling on the Carillon” will as always take place at St Colman’s Cathedral on Christmas Eve from 4.30 to 5.30 when, as in the past few years, Adrian Gebruers (Cathedral Carillonneur) will be joined by his two youngest students, granddaughters Amy and Ella.
Then, on New Year’s Eve, Adrian will ring in 2020 beginning at 11.50 and concluding at midnight with the playing of “Auld Lang Syne”. These recitals continue a tradition begun by Staf Gebruers ninety-five years ago.
