Haulbowline Theatre Group brings Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane to Cobh Community Centre on 28th, 29th, 31st August & 1st September 2019
Tickets now on sale!
Haulbowline Theatre Group is delighted to bring Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane to Cobh Community Centre for a limited run of 28th, 29th, 31st August & 1st September 2019.
The Beauty Queen of Leenane tells the darkly comic tale of Maureen Folan, a plain and lonely woman in her early forties, and Mag, her manipulative ageing mother. Mag’s interference in her daughter’s first and possibly final chance of a loving relationship sets in motion a train of events that inevitably leads towards the play’s sinister end.
A highly entertaining and engaging show with some very funny moments. Curtain-up is at 8pm nightly.
Tickets are priced at just €12 and are available now from:
Gibbs Chemist, Cobh
Cobh CarePlus Pharmacy
Or By Phone: 086 33 88 942
Please note that on Wednesday 28th, the performance is for charity and tickets are €15. All proceeds go to the RNLI, Cork Simon & Doctors Without Borders.
