There’s fun to be had at Fota Island Resort’s fantastic summer camps

This summer, Fota Island Resort have everything you need to ensure that your little ones have the most fun-filled break, with golf camps, tennis camps, adventure camps and much more taking place at the 5-star resort during the school holidays.
At Fota Island Resort this summer, keep the little ones entertained all day long at Camp Fota with an exciting range of activities including arts and crafts, soccer skills, spaghetti engineering, garden games, fairy trail and playground fun. Taking place Monday to Saturday from June 29th to August 30th, children can enjoy party games and movies while the adults enjoy a few hours of peace and quiet. Costing €20 a day for non-residents and including evening camps, there’s no end to the fun that can be had!
For young golfers, there will be two Golf Camps taking place throughout the summer holidays, with a focus on golf tuition and fun golf games. A great way to introduce kids to golf while also developing their skills and knowledge of the game, Fota Island Resort’s Golf Camp is the perfect option. Taking place from Monday 17th July to Wednesday 19th July and Wednesday 14th August to Friday 16th August from 10am-1pm, children can improve their skills, while any tennis fans can take part in one of the fun-filled tennis camps at Fota Island Resort in partnership with Munster Tennis. All players aged 7 to 13 are welcome to ace their serve and volley in the surrounds of The Munster Tennis Hub at Fota Island Resort, with three week-long tennis camps taking place Monday to Friday from the 8th July and running from 10am to 1pm each day. Tennis coaches will be on hand to give expert advice along with plenty of fun and games from a rate of €20 per day, or €79 for a week of lessons and advance bookings can be made online at www.tennishub.ie/camps or by emailing info@tennishub.ie .
For children to seek adventure, Fota Island Adventure is the perfect option, with plenty of adrenaline inducing outdoor activities planned throughout the summer. With combat archery, orienteering, target practice and bush craft as well as a range of fun field based activities, camps will take place Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm for 9 consecutive weeks throughout the summer and will cost €150 per child per week. This year, a “Leave no Trace” ethos will be embedded throughout all activities, ensuring that the little ones leave with an extended knowledge of the benefits of Mother Nature.
