30th Cork French Film Festival 3-10th March

The Alliance Française de Cork is proud to present the 30th Cork French film festival, a city-wide event bringing the best of French cinema to Irish audiences.
This year’s festival invites a famous director and DJ’s to Cork to join in the celebration, ensuring it is the biggest event to date.
Commencing Sunday the 3rd of March, it will run until Sunday the 10th of March. The festival will be packed with exciting screenings, events and more. Our outstanding programme for the 30th edition is most definitely not one to be missed.
This year the opening night film is Sink Or Swim (Le Grand Bain), which was one of this year’s box-office hits in France. Following the screening, we are delighted to welcome legendary French beatmaker, producer, turntablist and DJ- Jean du voyage, who will be playing for the opening night gala in St. Peters.
In addition to our screenings we have a host of wonderful events including food events and focus on environmental issues in partnership with the Cork environmental forum. With our screenings catered for schools and families, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to our partners and also sponsors Amarenco, Dassault Systems, Ambassade de France en Irlande, Cork Institute of Technology, Cork Airport, The River Lee, Hederman, Ballymaloe House, Irish Distillers – Pernod Ricard, Stonewell, Hederman, Fondation Alliance Française, Ville de la Rochelle, On teh Pig’s Back, The Parlour café, Brittany ferries and University College of Cork.
An enourmous thank you to our dedicated festival team and to all our wonderful volunteers who helped to bring the festival to life.
