Thousands of people are expected to flock to the Cork International Hotel this weekend for the Cork International Travel Fair
There are only days left to the third Cork International Travel Fair which will bring together travel agents, holidaymakers, hotels and many others. This is one of the biggest events of its kind in Ireland for holidaymakers.
The Travel Fair will be open from 11am to 5.30pm every day and is free to attend.
Over the weekend prizes to the value of €4,000 can be won by people attending the fair – these include trips to Dubrovnik and Paris. Today it is being announced that a prize to Cornwall will be up for grabs also. This will include flights and a three night B&B stay at The Cornwall Hotel, Spa & Estate.
General Manager at the Cork International Hotel, Carmel Lonergan said: “What is very exciting about the Cork International Travel Fair is the number of prizes to be won by those who attend. Not only that but we will have hundreds of holiday offers which are only available at the Cork International Travel Fair. It is certainly the go-to event for anyone planning a holiday.”
Head of Communications at Cork Airport, Kevin Cullinane said: “The 2019 Cork International Travel Fair promises to be a fantastic event. There will be so much for holidaymakers to choose from, with Cork Airport, Ireland’s second busiest and best connected international airport, now serving over 50 routes across the UK, Continental Europe and the east coast of the USA. For those wishing to travel further afield, passengers can easily connect to further long haul destinations from Cork Airport via the major international hubs of London Heathrow, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol airports. I would encourage anyone seeking some holiday inspiration to come along this weekend and see the myriad of travel options available direct from Cork Airport.”
