Opening Night Friday 11th August Free admission to Jack Doyle Room
Friday night events will take place in the
Commodore Hotel & The Jack Doyle Room
8-00pm – Sinead Sheppard’s School of Dance kicks off the 2017 Cobh Peoples Regatta.
8-20pm – Official Opening of the 2017 Cobh Peoples Regatta.
8-30pm – Interview of Queen Contestants conducted by Dr Michael Martin
9-00pm – A Ballroom Dance Display like you have never seen before from GLITZ
9-15pm – The ever popular band SWAY will play all your favourite tunes.
11-00 pm – Festival Club, Club C presents DJ Aaron Stanton Noonan to open up three nights of fantastic Festival Club Entertainment.

Saturday 12th August
Free Family Fun Day in the Promenade
9-00am – Rowing, presented by Rushbrooke Rowing Club.
11-00am – Market Stalls open in the Promenade.
2-00pm – Fancy Dress Parade, the parade leaves the Well House and arrives at the Promenade. There are two categories, 3-7yrs, and 8-12yrs.
Bonnie Baby Competition.
Pretty Princess Competition 4-7yrs.
Mini Queen Competition 8-12yrs
Handsome Prince Competition 4-7yrs
4-00pm – Kids Got Talent, local acts will perform live on the band stand.
Entry to any of the above is Free, however all children Must be accompanied by an adult.
4-30pm – DJ Marc O’Driscoll will entertain you playing all your favourite hits.
5-30pm – Local act Kady Foster will perform on the Band Stand.
On the Water
1-45pm – Firing of First Gun to Start Dinghy Sailing (presented by Cove Sailing Club)
2-00pm – the 3rd Annual Rankin Revival Race at the Promenade.
4-15pm – Presentation of Sailing Prizes.
Evening Entertainment in Casement Square
7-30pm – OASIS Tribute Band LIVE FOR EVER take to the Stage.
9-00pm – ROAD KILL REVIVAL featuring Jamie Stanton will play all your favourite sounds.
11-00pm – The second night of the Festival Club sees DEVINE INVENTION take to the stage in the Jack Doyle Room while simultaneously there is a Disco in Club C. Please note that admission to the Festival Club includes both events.

Sunday 13th August
Free Family Fun Day in the Promenade
11-00am – Market stalls open
11-45am – DJ on the Band Stand
2-00pm – Ryan Morgan preforms live on the Band Stand.
3-30pm – Flake The Gander (Irish Trad and Rock Band)
Children’s Entertainment includes Balloon Clowns and Face Painting
3-00pm – Children’s Crab Fishing Competition Starts in the Promenade
(bucket line and bait supplied limited numbers available)
4-30pm – Children’s Art s and Crafts in the Promenade (all arts materials supplied)
Entry to any of the above is free however all children must be accompanied by an adult
After a great success last year we are bringing back the Dunk Tank again and it will be located in the Promenade. Are you brave enough to try it?
4-30pm – DUCK RACE (ducks cost €2, First Prize €500 and 4 runner up prizes of €100)
5-30pm – DJ, Marc O’Driscoll will entertain you with all your favourite sounds.
6-00pm – Presentation of Sailing Prizes.
8-00pm – Announcement of Regatta Queen 2017.
8-15pm – The Phoenix Band will entertain you playing all your favourite tunes.
11-00pm – Festival Club in the Commodore Hotel.
The Cobh Peoples Regatta concludes with the band August Walk Playing live in the Jack Doyle Room. Proceeds from the Festival Club will go towards funding the Regatta.

1-30pm – Presented by Cove Sailing Club : Class 1 Cruisers Lipton Cup

Class 4 Cruisers Regatta Cup
Class 1720 Regatta Salver
4-30pm – DUCK RACE Cobh Peoples Regatta Fundraiser, Ducks cost €2 each, starts at
Navel Pier and ends at the Pier Head)
7-00pm – Cobh Fisherman’s Trawler Race (starts at the Pier Head)
7-00pm – Classic Wooden Boat 5K Race, (2no categories , 14ft to 17ft and 18ft up . Registration required to enter please phone 087 6617969
8-00pm – Keep an eye out for Safehaven Marine’s Thunder Child around the Harbour.
10-00pm – Spectacular Fire Works Display.
Entertainment in Casement Square on Sunday 13th August
3-30pm – The King, Paul Brady will perform your favourite songs
6-00pm – Dots and Henny take to the stage
9-00pm – The Service
