Cobh Camogie News
A little piece of history for Cobh Camogie took place on the 12th of April in Kinsale when our second Adult Team took to the pitch. This is a great reflection of the hard work that is being carried out by the club , its coaches and players. It was also a first for Kinsale on the night as it was their very first Adult game. Well done to our Junior C Team who had a great win on the night. Next Junior C game is v Blarney on Thursday 27th April in Cobh with the Junior B’s playing on May 1st. The minor and u16 team are continuing their league campaigns with the minors travelling to Barryroe on April the 26th.
The u12 team took part in a blitz in
Carrigtwohill on April the 22nd and performed very well. Well done also to the u14 team who participated in the Féile competition in Fr O’Neills GAA club with great wins against Castlelyons and Mallow. Underage coaching continues every weekend with many of the teams already in action in the Go Games.
Finally the Junior players and coaches took part in a very enjoyable Car Treasure Hunt on the 19th April. Thanks to Mari Moynihan for organising this team bonding activity and well done to the winning team of Pauline, Ellie Mae, Niamh, Katelynn and Tara.
