*SANTA ARRIVES By train to Cobh Railway station, 12.25 pm
*Visit Santa in his Grotto Cobh Heritage Centre, 12.45 pm – 4.30 pm €5 incl. parcel (accompanying adults free). Professional photos printed on the spot €5. Free Arts and Crafts activities all afternoon Cobh Heritage Centre

*ARC Santa Paws fundraising events and Christmas Cheer all day in town

*Christmas Craft Fair – St. Benedict’s Priory, The Mount, 2 pm – 5 pm

*Children’s Torch Lit Procession led by Cobh Animation Team and featuring Cobh Children’s Theatre and Sinéad Sheppard’s dancers from Cobh Heritage Centre to the Christmas Tree, 5.00 pm. Bring a torch, glow stick or a night light in a jam jar. All welcome.

*Muldowney Christmas Lights Show Preview Night
A Christmas Musical Light show for all the family! An amazing lights display that dances and flashes in time to music from 8.15 – 8.35pm nightly from 8th December until New Year’s Eve! 94 Norwood Park, Cobh, Cork! (all lights on static from 5pm-10pm nightly, apart from the 20 minute Musical Sequence at 8.15)

*Christmas Market/Arts and Craft Fair at Cobh Community Centre. Doors open 10 am. Admission to public is Free!

*Carillon at Midnight – The ringing out the old and in the new like no where else in Ireland. The New Year’s Eve recital will commence at 11.50 and conclude at midnight with the playing of “Auld Lang Syne”. Presented by Adrian Gebruers, Cathedral Carillonneur

THURSDAY 1st JANUARY
*Lusitania Centenary Year Opening Event

*Carillon at 4 – A recital on the carillon of St. Colman’s Cathedral will commence at 4 pm and culminate at 4.30 pm with a ceremony in The Promenade. At 5 pm flares will be fired from SpikeIsland in memory of the 1198 people who died in the tragedy
