Cobh Lions Club News
We have had a busy Summer, In June the Trabolgan project went ahead, it was enjoyed immensely and we would like to thank Sr Pauline who acted as our carer this year and also Lion Coleen Jones they both entertained everyone for us – many thanks!
At the Vitality Event: Cobh Lions held diabetic screening and did over 70 screenings on the day, thanks to Diabetes Ireland.
Family Fun Day: We supported CFRC this year, we were delighted to welcome the Lions Youth Exchange Group and they helped out on the day which was great fun.
Lions Brass Band: Approximately 40 young musicians played in the promenade in August and brought the bandstand to life!
We welcomed a new Club President Paul Kenny, Vice President Cian Delanty and a new Treasurer Maureen Fitzpatrick and we wish them well. The most special welcome was to our newest cub, Eve Keating.
We are planning many fun fundraisers in the coming months and look forward to your continued support. We can’t do it without your help, together we work better!
