Old Church Cemetery Tours
Jack Gilmartin’s fascinating free tours of the Old Church Cemetery will take place on the first Sunday of each month this summer. Starting at 2.30 pm at the main gate of the cemetery, the tours begin on Sunday 2nd May and will end on 5th September. The amazing history that spans over three centuries of this graveyard which has over 11,000 recorded burials is recounted in a very entertaining and captivating way by Jack. His depth of knowledge and witty style makes this tour unmissable.
Jack Gilmartin is also available to assist people with genealogical research and other tour dates can be arranged for interested groups from Cobh or further afield by contacting him on 086 2516716.
