Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club were once again celebrating at the weekend when they returned from St. Annes Tennis club in Waterford with wins in both the U12 Maher Cup and the U18 Munster Cup. “The U12 team put in a brilliant performance to defeat a much fancied Sundays Well Team and record a 6-3 victory in what was a great team performance.” said Rushbrooke representative Colm McDonnagh.
“The U18 team defeated hosts St. Annes 5-2 to again highlight the talent now coming out of Rushbrooke tennis club. The club has already this year captured the Munster Senior Cup for the second year running and a number of players have also won National Championships titles as well as many events around Munster in what has been a great year for all players.” he concluded.
