Catalyst Cobh AGM to feature special guest Sonia O’Sullivan

catalystFollowing a second successful year, Catalyst Cobh, an East Cork based women´s networking group, will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 16th of April at Trade Winds Bar and Restaurant, Cobh.

Group members will be treated to an eventful evening as Cobh native and internationally renowned athlete Sonia O´Sullivan will be the groups´ special guest on the night. Ms O´Sullivan will interviewed by the group members following the business of the AGM and members are encouraged to submit questions in advance by email.

“We are thrilled to have such an accomplished guest at our AGM”, said Anne Moroney, Chairperson, Catalyst Cobh, “This year has seen the group grow from strength to strength and membership continue to grow at each event. We see the AGM as an opportunity to celebrate this success and thank our members and speakers for a wonderful year.”

An inspirational athlete and business women, Sonia O´Sullivan acted as Chef de Mission for the Irish Team at the London Olympic Games as well as carrying the Olympic Torch through the streets of Dublin as part of the opening celebrations. Ms O´Sullivan will display the Olympic torch and her Olympic medals on the night.

After the question and answer session with Ms O´Sullivan, the group will leave for a short Ghost Tour with Dr. Michael Martin, Titanic Trail. Members will then return to Trade Winds for a social evening with finger food provided by proprietor Sandra O´Shea.

Catalyst Cobh is now in its second year and is membership is going from strength to strength. Catalyst Cobh host regular bi-monthly meetings with the next meeting.
