Exhibitions will run until Sunday 24 April
Sirius Arts Centre is pleased to present the works of two emerging Cork County Artists : Aisling Keating and Mark Whelan.
Aisling Keating – Time & Tide – based on th subleties of landscape, the pieces in Aisling’s exhibition were inspired by places in West Cork, Meath and Kildare. Each painting includes the element of water in some form, be it sea, river, canal , stream or flood. The landscapes portray various states of dark and light and the delicacy of nature’s layers.
Mark Whelan – Imagination & the Abstraction of Symbolic Forms. Im this exhibition Cobh based painter, Mark Whelan explores the chaose of the imagination, visual uncertainty and the abstraction of symbolic forms.
Both exhibitions run until Sunday 24 of April
Gallery Hours are:
Wed – Friday 11AM – 5pm
Sat & Sun 2pm – 5pm
Mon & Tuesday closed
