Our Lotto rollover finally came to a much anticipated halt on Monday the 23rd. Congratulations to Paddy Maher who scooped the huge jackpot of €15,500. The jackpot had been rolled over for over 40 weeks with the eventual winning ticket being sold in the Quarry Cock Bar, The club would like to thank everyone for their continued support of the lotto over the last number of months. New lotto Monday the 30th of January – Jackpot €2,000, tickets €1:50 each, on sale in the club and local businesses.
Table Quiz:
Cobh GAA Table Quiz – Friday the 10th of February in the GAA Club @ 8:30 PM
€20 per table – raffle and plenty of prizes on the night.
All funds raised go to aid the cost of floodlit training sessions. All Support Appreciated, Hope to see you there!
Club Juveniles Help Local School Reach Final
Colaiste Muire Reached the final of the f é15 Rochestown Park Hotel hurling competition with the help of many of Cobh GAA’s rising stars. The Cobh School overcame a brave Mayfield side on a scoreline of 9-10 to 0-2 points. Outstanding for the Cobh school on the day were resolute defenders David O’Connor, Dylan O’Brien, Dave Coffey and Aaron Dolan. Midfielders Keith T Donnachie and Niall Spriggs were in superb form in the middle of the park and there was some sublime performances from the Cobh forwards including Adam O’Donavan, Ciarán Leahy and Paidí Kearney. The Cobh school now await the winners of Macroom and Ballingcollig to see who they will battle for the title. Congratulations to all who participated on a great win for Colaiste Muire.
