Just one game last weekend when the Div 3 took the journey to Limerick to take on UL. Cobh travelled with the bare 11 players but they proved too strong for the students with an impressive 5-0 win. Capt Aoife Richardson was the first to score after ten minutes with a direct shot from a short corner. Aoife Hart made it 2-0 when she took a pass from Noelle Hally to score from close range. Not to be outdone Noelle made it 3-0 when, after her initial shot was saved by the goalie, she put the rebound away to make it 3-0. Just before the break Katie Murphy made it 4-0 to see Cobh in a very comfortable lead at half time. The second half saw UL have some breaks but it was Cobh who had the final say when, following a nice passage of play, Fiona O’Regan made it 5-0 with a shot just inside the circle.
