We are holding an Information & Awareness session on Sexual Health for parents of Teenagers
Topics Covered include;
Contraception
Implications of Alcohol and Drugs on Sexual Health
Sexually Transmitted Diseases
The session will run on a Saturday from 11-2pm

The Social and Health Education Project
In conjunction with the Family Resource Centre
Are Running an 8 week Personal Development Course for Women of all ages
Wed 7.30-10pm , starts the 4th May 2011
The course is open to people who are interested in looking at the issues which have an impact on their lives. The course is open to people from all walks of life. No prior qualifications are needed — just a willingness to be personally involved and to interact with others.
If you are interested in developing your awareness of yourself and of how you are in today’s world, in talking about what is important to you, and in understanding how you relate and communicate with others, then this course could be for you.
Topics likely to be introduced are:
Listening and communicating Handling feelings Handling criticism and praise
Managing stress Being assertive Understanding what blocks us in life
Dealing with conflict Building self-confidence Making good decisions Setting goals
