Cobh Tourism Ambassadors will be on the streets of Cobh welcoming and greeting visitors to our town and giving invaluable local information from April 11th next. Over fifty people of all ages have signed up to be volunteer Ambassadors and committing 2 hours a week at a time that suites their own schedules. The training (Bus Tour of Cobh and a short customer care classroom session) will be held on Sunday 27th March. The group will meet at the Commodore Hotel at 1.45 pm and the training will be finished by 5 pm. This will be an enjoyable and interesting afternoon.
Further volunteers are welcome and indeed needed. Please contact Cobh Tourism at cobhtourism@gmail.com, find us on Facebook or call 087 2593850 if you wish to sign up or want to know more.
