Cobh Tidy Towns News
On a dry and bright Saturday morning, eight volunteers helped Cobh Tidy Towns to sweep the footpaths on a long stretch of the High Road. As the major approach road used by visitors to Cobh it is important to have it looking clean and tidy.
Much of what was swept up had been lying there for a considerable time and gave a quite neglected appearance. Tidy Towns volunteers meet at the playground on the Five Foot Way every Saturday at 10 am and at the Crow’s Nest at 12 noon every Monday. Do come along even if it is only for an hour.
