Tom Moynihan is Cobh Golf Club’s 2010 Golfer Of The Year
The first official presentations held by Cobh Golf Club’s new Captain Frank Jones, in attendance of the new Lady Captain Margaret Hurst and President Noreen Kelly, took place in the Commodore Hotel on Saturday, 11 December 2010. The most prestigious Club-Price, “Golfer Of The Year”, went to Tom Moynihan (15 points), who beat strong competition from Peter Meaney (12) and Ray O’Mahony and Gavin Dunlea (11 each).
There were also presentations for the Monthly Medal Winners, and Hamper presentations for competitions held earlier in the year. The hampers were magnificent (as can be seen) – thanks so much to the Sponsors Keatings Supermarket, Jack Doyle’s Pub, Garvey’s Supervalu and Dairy & Engineering, Platech.
