Cobh Pirates Junior 1s overcame St Senans on Sunday with a solid display from this young side. Great work from the young backrow of Kevin Allen, Cíarán Duignam and Darren Frahill helped Cobh put in a steady performance against the wind  and had the sides level 3-3 at the break. Tries from Darren Frahill, John O’Malley and Steven O’Neill and two penalties and a conversion by Mark Chandler earned the Pirates a quarter final tie away to Tralee, to be played next week, Sunday 19th, in the Kerry venue, with a 2.30 pm kick off. (The game may be moved to an earlier time, or to Saturday due to the All Ireland football final.
