Cobh Gaa Notes: 27th June

25th ANNIVERSARY BINGO. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended in such large numbers on our special night and helped to make it an outstanding success. Results: Non-Exam H.L. final: Cobh 0-14 Kilmeen/Kilbree 1-12. The non-exam competition came to an end last Tuesday night with an exciting final being played out between the two teams who finished top of the league. This competition has seen our minors play 9 games in hurling and football over what is traditionally a quite time for games during the State exams. All of these games will stand to the minor and U16 players as they now return to East Cork league action and prepare for their respective championships in July and August.

Fixtures: (in Cobh unless stated otherwise)

Minor hurling challenge v White’s Cross, Wed 30th June at 7:30pm.

U11 Camogie v Watergrasshill Fri 2nd at 7:30pm (Top Pitch).

East Cork JAHC Midleton v W’hill Friday 2nd July at 7:30pm.

Entertainment at the Gaa Club for Summer 2010:

Wolfe Tones:- 9th July,  Mary Black:- 20th August

Tickets for both concert (@ €30 each) are now on sale in the Gaa club pavilion.

Family Fun Day:- 30th July

CÚL CAMP: The GAA summer camp starts Mon 5th July and runs from Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 2.30pm. All those who have signed up are asked to be at the Main Gaa Pitch each morning of the camp, ready to start for 10am.
