WE SESSION is an acoustic band comprising of Alex Byrne on piano and vocals, Trevor Byrne on guitar and vocals and Katie McGroarty on Guitar and vocals. These musicians have been playing for a number of years and have developed a diverse set from popular artists such as : The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Eagles, Neil Young, David Bowie, The Waterboys, U2, and Oasis etc.
WE SESSION arrange recent popular hits and traditional music with three-part harmonies to deliver a unique live acoustic experience.

Saturday 31st July – Cobh & Harbour Chamber  ‘Fun of the Fayre/ Summer Swing – at 3pm the Sons of Steve McQueen will headline as part of the continuing Summer Swing Series of Free concerts in the local promenade in Cobh.   The Sons of Steve McQueen are considered to be one of the finest live bands to come out of East Cork in recent times. The band has developed a eclectic mix of music over the years which always has something for everyone in the audience. This diverse range draws on many genres, from contemporary up-to date chart toppers to classic rock n roll. The band is noted for its energetic live performances and will always get the audience going so put on your dancing shoes and get to Cobh this weekend!   The Sons of Steve McQueen play a range of genres including, waltzes, country, reggae, rock n roll, dance music, rock, jazz and contemporary hits.
