Summer 2010 Make-up should be minimal whether you are beach or work bound. Whatever age category you come under the     emphasis is on cheeks, lips and Eyes

• Make a statement with a vibrant pink colour applied to the apple of the cheeks or try something different, M.A.C Highlight powder in Marine life is a coral blush, mixed with a bronzy gold and is a great way to add warmth to the cheeks.
• Anything that reflects light will camouflage wrinkles. Using a creamy highlighter (High beam at Benefit) focus along the top of the cheekbones, avoid powder highlighters as they draw attention to lines.
• Sheer neon glosses like Chanel brilliant lip shine in laser lets you incorporate fun, flattering shades into your look without appearing as though you are trying too hard.
• Loss of collagen overtime can rob your lips of their former fullness, A plump and pretty pout makes your entire face look younger.
• Translucent glosses in pink or peach on naturally full, line free lips are Fabulous, Stila lip pots are quick and easy to apply with your finger.
• For older lips, lipstick drifting into fine lines is probably your main concern, to soften lips and prepare for lipstick by applying Chanel Soin Tendres Levres, a hydrating treatment in the morning and evening. It will keep your pucker and the skin around your lips looking smooth.
• A bold Hue can transform any look from girlie to grown-up. If you have thin lips, stay away from bold colours which can make your lips appear smaller. Use pinks in reflective tones to boost volume.

• Liner is a handy tool to give your lips instant volume and definition, apply with feather light strokes, taking it very easy along the cupids bow. For a goof-proof liner, Lancome le lipstique sheer in a shade close to your own natural lipcolour is perfect.
• A wash of Pastel shadow across the eyelid is a quick and easy eye opener. With a Kaleidoscope of perfect hues M.A.C and Dior have great selections.
• Reviving tired aging eyes is simple with a pale pink liner like Yves Saint Laurent long lasting eye pencil in Silky pink, blend it under the arch of your brow to give the illusion of a raised brow and pencilling it on the inner bottom lash lines and in the corners of your eyes to open them up.
• Don’t sacrifice your skin for a sun kissed glow this summer, for a natural looking tan on mature skin use a bronzer with no sparkle as shimmer will only draw attention to lines, go for Dior Matt Bronzers or Armani Fluid bronzer
