Cobh Camogie Notes
Cork Camogie Captain, Orla Cotter visits Cobh Girls at training.
On Saturday last we were delighted that Cork senior camogie captain, Orla Cotter, took time out her busy training schedule to join the girls during training. Orla spoke to and took some training time with the three groups and did the obligatory hurley and jersey signing at the end. It was great for the girls to meet with one of Cork’s current senior stars. Orla was presented with a Cobh jersey as a memento of her visit. Training continues throughout the summer (– no holidays for the camogie girls) Saturdays(11am) and Wednesdays(5pm) for girls born on/before 2001, and Saturdays at 11 for girls born in 2002 and beginners.
Junior Camogie: Camogie training for girls/ladies from sixteen years of age up starts on Tuesday 1st June at 7:30pm in the Top Pitch of the Gaa and will continue each Tues night. All players, new and old, are welcome to come along and get involved. For further information contact Mari at 086 2503484
