Irish Distillers, makers of some of the world’s most enjoyed whiskeys and one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of spirits and wines, is looking for ambitious Cork graduates to join the 2022/23 Jameson International Graduate Programme.
Now in its 30th year, the Jameson International Graduate Programme empowers graduates from all backgrounds to shape their future by providing them with the tools and opportunity to realise their personal and professional goals, as part of a global community.
Jameson is looking for creative, innovative, self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset to follow in the footsteps of Rachel Sheehan from Carrigtwohill who is working as a Jameson Brand Ambassador in Northern Ireland, and Pippa Ryan from Ballygarvan who is working as a Jameson Brand Ambassador in Indonesia.
Rachel Sheehan from Carrigtwohill, who is currently a Jameson Brand Ambassador based in Belfast said: “The Jameson International Graduate Programme is a fantastic way to gain experience in marketing. The opportunity to experience what goes on behind the scenes on a marketing campaign, from strategy to content creation, has been invaluable. I set out to develop my marketing skills when I joined the programme and aimed to pursue a role in this field, however, the exposure to other areas in the business, specifically the sales and commercial side, have opened my eyes to different roles that I would not have considered before. A notable feature of the programme is the emphasis placed on both personal and professional development. The development programme ‘Distill Your Own Success’ supports ongoing learning to develop your skills, creating a strong foundation for an international marketing career and preparing you for life after the graduate programme.”
Over 400 graduates have participated in the Jameson International Graduate Programme since it was established in 1991 and the programme has been recognised as most popular FMCG Graduate Employer for eight consecutive years through the gradireland Graduate Employer Survey.
The 2022/23 intake of graduates will have the opportunity to work with Jameson, one of the Top 5 International whisk(e)y brands in the world[1], in one of over 35 international markets.
The Jameson International Graduate Programme accepts applicants from all disciplines, so a marketing or business background is not essential. The programme’s induction programme covers all bases, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools they need to hit the ground running post-induction. The programme provides a competitive benefits package, mentorship via a global support network and a multi-award winning development programme.
Applications for the 2022/23 Jameson International Graduate Programme are now open and will close on Wednesday 23rd February 2022 at 1pm. Visit jamesongraduateprogramme.com for more information.
