Cobh Youth & Social Projects CLG have the following vacancies:

1 vacancy for an Assistant Youth Worker – Cobh Youth Services
Duties include after school activities, youth café, outdoor activities, homework club.
1 vacancy for a Kitchen/Housekeeping Assistant.
Responsible for all kitchen duties and housekeeping duties in relation to the Kitchen and Dining Areas.
Duties include creating menus, create shopping lists, production of food for the children daily ( 26-30 young people per day)
Collection of cutlery and dinnerware from each room
Maintenance and Hygiene upkeep of appliances and apparatus
General housekeeping within dining areas
Temperature check of food and fridges
1 vacancy for a Caretaker – St. Colman’s Cemetery/Cobh Parish
Responsible for the overall presentation, maintenance and appearance of the cemetery which includes:
Grass cutting, Strimming, Weeding, Seeding, Fertilizing, Operating earth moving and lawn care equipment an d cemetery clean up
Maintain lawn equipment and schedule repairs when necessary
Work individually or as part of a team and follow instructions when necessary
General Maintenance and Repairs in the Parish
Painting and Decorating
Eligibility to participate in Community Employment is generally linked to those who are 21 years of age and over and are in receipt of an Irish Social Welfare payment for 52 weeks or more.
