FAI Cup qualifying round set to get underway

Six fixtures set to take place this weekend. The FAI Cup qualifying round is set to get underway this weekend as the road to the Aviva Stadium begins.
20 clubs were in the qualifying round draw, 16 intermediate clubs and four junior clubs; Ashling Annacotty, Glengad United, Regional United and St. Michael’s.
Four teams, Cobh Wanderers, Crumlin United, Letterkenny Rovers and Killester Donnycarney, received a bye into the first round of the competition.
Six fixtures are set to get underway this weekend with two fixtures to be confirmed as all clubs look to progress to the first round of the competition.

Friday, April 19
Maynooth University Town v Rockmount – NUI Astro, Maynooth, 7pm
St. Mochta’s v Collinstown – Porterstown Road, 7.45pm
Saturday, April 20
Newtown Rangers v Avondale United – Farrell Park, Kiltipper, 2pm
Glebe North v Midleton – Market Green, Balbriggan, 2pm
U.C.C. v Malahide United – The Mardyke, 3pm
Sunday, April 21
Glengad United v Home Farm – The Crua, Glengad, 3pm
TBC: Lucan United v Aisling Annacotty, St. Michael’s v Regional United
Byes: Cobh Wanderers, Crumlin United, Killester Donnycarney and Letterkenny Rovers.
