“The Ploughing Match Comes to Cobh” for Haulbowline Theatre Group’s
Culture Night 2018 Production on Friday 21st September
Two free performances will take place at:
The Quarry Cock Bar – 9pm
The Roaring Donkey Bar – 9:45pm
Pub drama is on the bill at The Quarry Cock and The Roaring Donkey Bars for Culture Night. Picture a scenario where Cobh has been chosen to host The Ploughing Championships for 2018. The town is buzzing with the influx of the farming community.
The shops, bars and restaurants are all set to capitalise on this golden opportunity. Is Cobh ready for the invasion of the wellie brigade? The well-known smiley DJ, Serge O’Tuama, has been hired to transmit the grooves for the country faithful. The party is about to begin…
This production forms part of Culture Night 2018 – a series of events taking place all over Ireland on Friday 21st September to celebrate culture, creativity and the arts.
This is a free event but arrive early to avoid disappointment as the capacity of the venues is limited.
