Cobh Library is delighted to host a very special literary day with a novel twist! Did you know that some of the librarians that you meet in your local library have a secret life? Some of the best writers in Ireland began their careers as Librarians – one even worked in Cobh Library! Covering a wide variety of writing styles from literary to crime fiction, screenwriting to poetry, westerns to historical fiction; bestselling authors, Colette Caddle, Dermot Bolger, Caroline Farrell, Thomas McCarthy, Kristin Gleeson, Elizabeth Desmond and Micheal O’Flaherty will be joining us in Cobh to talk passion, creativity and why libraries are integral to inspiring a love of reading and literature at every age. This event is free and all are welcome. Teas and coffees available at 10:30am.
