PREVIEW: COBH RAMBLERS V WATERFORD FC
ST COLMAN’S PARK, SATURDAY OCTOBER 7TH, 3PM
Cobh Ramblers round off their season with the visit of newly crowned champions Waterford FC to St Colman’s Park on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors were pushed all the way by Ramblers this season, and boss Stephen Henderson says he’s proud of his players.
“Firstly I’d like to congratulate Waterford. They’ve been fantastic this season, and they’re going to be a force to be reckoned with in the Premier Division next year. Congratulations to Alan Reynolds and his players and staff.
“From our point of view, I’m delighted with how our lads kept right in touch with Waterford all season. We have a very young squad, and to push an excellent team like Waterford so far shows the quality we have here at St Colman’s Park.”
With the game being moved to a 3pm kick off, Henderson is hopeful a big crowd will come out for the last game of the season.
“It would be great if people came out to give these lads the send off they deserve. They’re an honest, hard working bunch. So it would be great for the Ramblers supporters to come out and get to St Colman’s Park on Saturday afternoon.”
Henderson has a fully fit squad from which to choose on Saturday.
