RedFM Launch Cork’s First Business Show

Cork’s RedFM have unveiled well known broadcaster Jonathan Healy as the presenter for Cork’s first dedicated business show which goes live today.
Red Business with Jonathan Healy is a new weekly 30min podcast that will focus on Cork business issues but will also be international in terms of scope. Speaking at the launch of the show in Republic of Work earlier today Jonathan Healy described the podcast as “something that will appeal to a large audience as it will feature discussion around Pharma, Tech, Retail, Property, FDI and Agribusiness all of which are vital industries for Cork business”.
The Red Business podcast is sponsored by Vodafone Ireland and will feature in-depth interviews, on-site reports and offer advice to business people on the challenges they face. Speaking about the new podcast CEO for Cork’s RedFM Diarmuid O’Leary said “this show reinforces our commitment to being at the heart of everything in Cork and it is a fantastic opportunity for businesses locally to tell their story”.
Jonathan Healy a Law graduate from UCC has worked in radio, television and online media for two decades. He has been as a presenter with Newstalk, a senior correspondent with Sky News and also has experience working with TV3, RTE, FM104 and The Cork Independent.
Jonathan who lives in Cork with his wife Colette, and their three children Jack, Matthew and Aoife hopes to bring the listeners on a journey with some of Cork’s business people. “The interviews will be conducted on site and in the persons comfort zone, allowing for a revealing insight into their primary passion – their business” added Jonathan.
The podcast will be available for people to download and listen to every Wednesday via the RedFM website. The first show which can be downloaded today features an exclusive look behind the scenes at Pairc Ui Chaoimh, a look at how Brexit will affect Cork and a feature on the growth of Doughnut Shops in Cork tonight.
