Sirius Arts Centre currently has a vacancy through its Community Employment Programme.
The Community Employment (CE) programme is designed to help people who are long-term unemployed to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities.
Duties will include general office work, opening and closing of galleries; helping with installations of exhibitions, room set ups for events, greeting the public, answering phones and invigilation of exhibitions. Also includes general upkeep of the artists’ residency. This position is a developmental opportunity, no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided.
Duration: 12 Months
Hours & Start Date: Hours per week: 19.5
Start Date: TBC
Experience Required: No previous experience required

This is an community employment position. Eligible applicants will have been unemployed for 12 months or more, in receipt of jobseekers allowance.
