Cobh Golf Club News
Here in Cobh, we are fortunate enough to have many top class attractions and facilities alike.
One of our newer facilities, is the 18 hole golf course at Marino Point. This course was officially opened by renowned golfer Shane Lowry in 2010 and is a credit to hard working committees formed before, and since, which oversaw the conception, design and build of the course. It is a great addition to Cobh town’s sporting facilities and the club is always striving to create a better experience for its members and visitors.
The club is currently running a development fundraising draw with great prizes to be won, if you would like to support the CGC development plan you can buy lines for €4 a line or 3 lines for €10. Fundraising cards will be held by club members, at the club Pro Shop and also during local flag days on 12/13th Aug. Closing date for the draw is 28th Aug, the draw will be held in the clubhouse on 1st Sept.
Our club could not be sustained without generosity of our kind sponsors which have made this draw possible. We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to Marino Point to view our beautiful course…..Who knows? You might get bitten by the golf bug.
