Cobh Tourism has organised musical entertainment in The Promenade for every Sunday from now until the end of September that doesn’t have a festival or event planned. This initiative is grant aided by Cork County Council. People in the greater Cork region will get to know that there is always something happening in Cobh on Sundays and that this is just one more great reason to visit Cobh.
The programme for June and July 2016 is as follows (starting at 3 pm):
June 26th Vitality Cobh Event
July 3rd Dust Buster Light Orchestra
July 10th Dust Buster Light Orchestra
July 11th Australia Day in Cobh! Army Band, Darragh McGann and lots more
July 17th Blarney Brass Band
July 24th Blarney Brass Band
July 31st Darragh McGann
On most Sundays throughout the summer, a Carillon Recital on the bells of St. Colman’s Cathedral will also start at 4.30 pm.
