U13 SKECHERS NATIONAL CUP
Springfield Ramblers 4-2 Everton
This game didn’t really come to life till the second half. 0-0 at half time. 10 mins into second half the deadlock was broken by Colin Henderson with a cool finish. Peter Ziga doubled advantage with 10 mins to go. A superb save from our keeper Darragh Burke from penalty spot kept us 2 to the good. Everton scored but we responded by a Harry Ellis screamer. Everton scored again but Adam Mc Cormac with a slick finish made it 4. Best on Day Captain Darragh Burke and George Kelly. Thanks to our U12 Players Colin, Danny, Dave and Luca who all played their part today.
SKECHERS U14 DIVISION 4
St Marys B 5-1 pringfield Ramblers A
A very few pluses today hard game on a heavy pitch saw Mary’s go 2 up in the first half. Second half Ramblers came out fighting and got a goal back through John Breen with some great play by Matthew Moss. Unfortunately While pushing forward 3 quick counter attacks cost us .
U15 SKECHERS NATIONAL CUP
Springfield Ramblers A 0-2 Corinthian Boys A
Springers came out of the blocks at pace and took the game to the Div1 team. Some good play led to Brian Danaj facing the keeper on a one to one only for the normally clinical striker forcing a save from the keeper. Corinthians went up the pitch and scored against the run of play. Springers to their credit kept plugging away and could have got a couple of goals had luck been on their side. Corinthians dominated in midfield and would have had a couple more goals only for Shane Kelsall in defence who stopped them time after time. They got a second goal and there was no way back for the home team. Best on the day for Springers were Shane Kelsall ,Adam Stanton. Ciaran Collins and Keelan Ryan who played out of position on the day. Best of luck to Corinthians in the next round.
