Large crowds of interested prospective students and their parents gathered at the college on Tuesday evening October 7th to view the facilities and to discuss the options available to
students.
Transition year students were on hand as guides to meet & greet visitors and also to take them on tours of the various rooms. The main event of the evening was the presentation and Principal’s address in the Jago library.
Mr Frank Donovan welcomed everyone and outlined the college ethos and academic ambition to provide a complete educational opportunity to second level students. He added that the college mission statement of “welcoming all, on a basis of care and respect and encouraging each one to strive for personal excellence” is never more important than during the process of transition from primary to secondary education.
