Cobh delivered another solid performance in this year’s National Tidy Towns competition, retaining its silver medal and making it to the final shortlist of ten towns in the Tourism Towns competition. The Tourism Towns final judging will take the form of an unannounced inspection and series of mystery shops over the coming weeks to decide which community is embracing tourism most and going the extra mile to welcome visitors. Competition is strong with towns such as Killarney, Kinsale, Westport and Glengarriff vying for the top honours
