Cobh took command of this game from the very start and took the lead with a pointed free from Aoife O Connor followed shortly afterwards with a goal from Jennifer McCarthy. Watergrasshill settled and scored 2 good points from play to narrow the gap. Cobh however were moving the ball quickly, passing the ball well and as a result created a lot of chances and were scoring freely. Goals from Orla Damery, Aoife O Connor and Jennifer McCarthy putCobh well in command. The Cobh defence with Tara Looney, Kate Maher and Ellen Stafford clearing well were also in control.
Cobh continued to play very well in the second half with Chloe Cashman, Chloe Walsh and Chloe Thompson creating chances and further scores came from Ashling Bardsley, Laura Stafford, Orna McCarthy, Aoife O Connor & Jen McCarthy . The cobh defence with Ashling Farrell, Ellie May O Sullivan, Sophie Maher, Elllen Meaney and Clodagh Tibbits in goal in great form were giving very little away. Cobhran out convincing winners and will be very pleased with this performance.
