New opportunities at Carrignafoy Community College, Cobh
Carrignafoy Community College Cobh welcomes the opportunity to give you a second chance at education. In an ever changing Ireland, the opportunity to grow and progress opens up a world of possibility to everyone. At the very least, going back to a P.L.C. college like Carrignafoy Community College can take you out of the isolation of your own home, and give you an opportunity to socialise and make new friends. Furthermore, any one of our FETAC courses will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills, both personal and practical that will help you to gain employment.
Our courses have been selected with current market needs in mind. Each course has been designed to meet your specific needs as a learner. Whether you are a mature student returning to education, a school leaver or recently unemployed we have endeavoured to meet your needs. Since there is such a wide range of courses on offer, you are sure to find one that interests you.
Work experience is a core part of each course being delivered in Carrignafoy Community College as it will help you to put into practice what you learn in the classroom and develop confidence in your own abilities. The experience and skills gained while on work experience are of paramount importance to any FETAC course and to employers.
Courses on offer this September will include Sports & Recreation (Level 5), Tourism with Business (Level 5), Art (Level 5), Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 5), Information Processing (Level 5), Engineering Technology (Level 5), Early Childhood Care & Education with special needs modules included (Level 6) & new this year horticulture (Level 5).
